Region 7 – The Coastal Mountains

From the snow capped Coastal Mountain range to the Pacific Ocean shores of the Sunshine Coast, this region is all about spectacular and varied scenery.  The paved Sea to Sky Highway from Pemberton to the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal makes up the final 135 kms of the B.C. mainland TCAT route.  It travels through Whistler, a world class resort and the site of many unforgettable moments in the 2010 Winter Olympics and the town of Squamish before concluding at the Horseshoe Bay Ferry terminal.  An approximate 2 hour ferry ride crossing the Inside Passage will deliver you to the start of the final section of the TCAT on Vancouver Island.
